Akshay Kumar: The only Indian in Forbes highest paid celebrity list

Mumbai: Bollywood's action hero Akshay Kumar becomes the only Indian to feature in Forbes annual 'The World's Highest-Paid celebrities' list. The list features top 100 highest paid actors across the globe. Akshay Kumar stood at 52nd position with Kylie Jenner and Kanye West being the top 2.

As per the Forbes list, Akshay grabbed the 52nd spot among 100 people. His estimated annual income is whopping $48.5 million. However, the actor saw a drop of 19 places as he was at 33rd position last year with estimated income of $65 million. Forbes called Akshay “Bollywood’s top-earning star”.

“A bankable movie star, he commands up to $13 million upfront for films like the upcoming Bachan Pandey and Bell Bottom.” Forbes also wrote he was “one of India’s most philanthropic celebrities, he donated $4.5 million to coronavirus relief in the country.”

Kylie Jenner- The Richie Rich

Jenner's earnings for last one year stand around massive $590 million. Her major chunk comes from her 51% stake in Kylie Cosmetics line to Coty in 2019. Forbes stated a week ago that she is no longer a billionaire. The revelation came after reviewing data from Coty sale. Jenner responded that it was based on “a number of inaccurate statements and unproven assumptions."
