Akshay Kumar summoned by Jaipur court over 'Jolly LLB 2'

Mumbai: The problems for superstar Akshay Kumar following his upcoming movie 'Jolly LLB 2' mounted on Monday as a Jaipur court ordered him to show up on March 10.

The court summoned the Khiladi Kumar reacting over a petition that alleges that the film shows the lawyers in a bad light.

Earlier on Monday, an Aurangabad bench of the Bombay High Court ordered the makers of the flick to delete four scenes from the Akshay Kumar and Huma Qureshi starrer Jolly LLB 2. The scenes included one where a scared judge tries to hide behind the chair, another where a shoe is hurled, a scene with objectionable signalling and dialogues in an argument scene.

Interestingly, the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) had already given green signal to the movie.

The court will reissue a certificate after the recent decision. The film first landed in a legal soup after Nanded-based advocate Ajaykumar Waghmare filed a petition, alleging that the film is just an attempt to portray the Indian Legal Profession and Judicial System as a laughing stock to the people of the country

The Bombay High Court had formed a three-member panel to review the movie and find out if there was anything objectionable. The court is expected to deliver its verdict on Tuesday.
