Akshay Kumar reveals his first look from horror movie 'Laxmmi Bomb'

Mumbai: Actor Akshay Kumar has appeared in many Tamil movie remakes and has entertained his audience with his diverse acting skills and un-matchable humour.

In his psychological thriller 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa', which was the remake of a 1993 Malayalam movie Manichitrathazhu, Akki made us scream out of fear just after giving us a nice laud laugh with his great comic sense.

It seems like Akki has now taken a break from doing social message bearing movies for a while and could be seen in his next horror-comedy 'Laxmmi Bomb' which is the remake of Tamil film 'Muni 2: Kanchana'. The film is directed by Raghava Lawrence, who directed the original 'Muni 2: Kanchana', which went on to become a blockbuster.

The official announcement of the movie were made by Raghava in the second half of January 2019 and since then their was a great excitement among the Akki's fans.

Now, putting an end to all the suspense, Akshay has revealed his first look from 'Laxmmi Bomb' on May 18 after much await. In this look Akki could be seen applying makeup in the picture with a serious look on his face.

The film also stars Kiara Advani as the female lead and will hit theatres in June, 2020.

Talking about his look in the movie, Akki took to his tweeter account where he tweeted details of this upcoming movie:

Akshay shared the look of the film on Twitter with the caption, “Bringing you one bomb of a story,#LaxmmiBomb starring @Advani_Kiara & yours truly!Bursting in cinemas on 5th June,2020. Kiara had earlier shared a picture from the sets of the film with the caption, “First Day of #LAAXMIBOMB @akshaykumar @RowdyGabbar #raghavalawrence @TusshKapoor and the journey has just begun.” She was seen holding the clapperboard for a shot.

If rumours are to be believed in this movie Akshay plays the protagonist who gets possessed by the spirit of a transgender, Kiara will portray the superstar’s girlfriend in the movie. The female lead did not have a significant role in the original version, Kiara will enjoy a substantial part in the adaptation. The script too has been tweaked to suit the sensibilities of the Hindi film audience.

Akshay and Kaira are also working together in a movie 'Good News', where Akshay stars opposite Kareena Kapoor and Kiara pairs up with Diljit Dosanjh. The film is about a couple trying to have a baby.
