Akshay Kumar-Rajnikanth starrer ‘Robot 2’ is half-done: Shankar

Chennai: Actors Akshay Kumar, Rajnikanth starrer ‘Robot 2’ has completed its 50 percent shoot. Filmmaker S.Shankar took to micro-blogging site Twitter to confirm the information.

A source from the film’s unit said-

• Some important sequences are being shot in prime locations in Chennai.
• Shooting in crowded places is not challenging for the team as Akshay is in disguise.

‘Robot 2’ is the second instalment of 2010 blockbuster ‘Robot’.

Khiladi Kumar is sporting grey shade in the film.

The film, which also stars Amy Jackson, is slated to release next year.
