Akshay Kumar does it again, donates Rs. 9 lakh to army jawan’s kin

Jaisalmer: Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar has yet again proved that he is a man with golden heart. Khiladi Kumar has extended the financial support of Rs. 9 lakh to the kin of Indian Army jawan who was recently martyred in an IED blast in Assam.

Condoling jawan’s wife, ‘Rustom’ actor had a telephonic conversation with the family members for 15 minutes. Family expressed gratefulness to the actor.

Confirming the same, Jaisalmer sector north DIG Amit Lodha said:

• Akshay is aware of the hardships of the forces as his father was in army.
• The actor carries ample of respect for the security forces.
• Akshay is running a campaign of helping martyrs family financially.
• He has extended help to 6-7 families of the martyrs.

Meanwhile, ‘Baby’ actor has visited borders several times in order to encourage the army jawans. It could be mentioned here that state government has not announced any compensation to the family over the loss of the army jawan.
