Actor Prateik Babbar all set to tie the knot with Sanya Sagar

Mumbai: Bollywood actor Prateik Babbar is all about to enter the married men's club. The actor is all set to marry Sanya Sagar, daughter of BSP leader Pawan Sagar.

The first pictures from the couple’s haldi and mehendi ceremony went viral on cyber space. While, Sanya looks pretty in a yellow attire paired with a floral tiara, Prateik donned an off-white kurta pyjama coupled with a green dupatta.

Prateik looked all smeared in haldi on his haldi ceremony. Sanya took to Instagram to share pictures and videos on Insta stories from the ceremony. The bride looked quite gleeful on her pre-marriage ceremonies.

Prateik’s brother and actor Aarya Babbar also shared a picture of the bride in a beautiful peach coloured lehenga and captioned it, “And today,” on his Insta stories. The ceremony is set to take place on January 22 and 23.

As per sources close to the family, Bahujan Samaj Party chief Mayawati, Samajwadi Party President Akhilesh Yadav and many other politicians are expected to attend the wedding ceremony.

Prateik revealed in an interview “Sanya and I, along with our families, decided that something as pure as love should be solemnised on an auspicious day and what better day than Vasant Panchami. She’s the best partner I could have asked for. It didn’t take me long to figure out that she was the one for me. I know it sounds cliched, but I can’t stop counting my blessings and thanking God for all the good that is happening in life.”

The actor proposed to Sanya in Goa during a musical festival. The couple will take marriage vows on Vasant Panchmi.
