Dehradun: The wildlife Institute of India (WII) has released a notification inviting interested candidates to apply for the post of Project Fellow, Project Interns and Project Associate on contractual basis for the National Mission on Himalayas Studies (NMHS) project.

Educational Qualification
Project Fellow: candidates applying for the post must hold a post graduate degree in wildlife sciences / zoology/ Forestry/ environmental Sciences/ management/ biodiversity and conservation with a minimum of 60 percent aggregate marks from a recognized institute or university.
Project Intern: The candidates interested in applying for the post should hold a bachelor’s/pg degree in Zoology/ life sciences/ forestry/ environmental sciences or related field from a recognized university.
Project Associate: The candidates interested in this post should have a Master’s degree in veterinary sciences from a recognized university or a Ph.D in wildlife science/ Zoology/environmental science/ management or related subjects.
Age limit:
Project Fellow: The age of the candidates applying should not exceed 28 years.
Project Interns: The age of the candidates applying should not exceed 24 years
Project Associate: The age of the candidates should not exceed 40 years.
Relaxation in age will be provided as per the government norms.
Selection Procedure
Candidates will be selected on the basis of a written test and then interview will be conducted to shortlist among them.
Pay scale
Project Fellow: The selected students will be getting a monthly salary of Rs 16,000.
Project Interns: The selected candidates will be getting a pay of Rs 200 per day.
Project Associate: The selected students will be getting a salary of Rs 36,000.
