Schools reopen in Delhi, UP, Rajasthan, MP; Know Protocol & Guidelines!

New Delhi: Schools have opened in many states of the country including Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh from today. Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya has asked the states to vaccinate all school teachers across the country on priority basis before September 5 i.e. National Teachers' Day.

Safety protocols for students:

Corona cases continue to decline in the country and the vaccination campaign is also gaining momentum. Meanwhile, schools in many states of the country are starting off-line classes with the covid safety protocol from today. Delhi Schools reopen:

After a significant improvement in the situation in the national capital Delhi, the Delhi government on Friday announced that schools, colleges and coaching institutes for classes 9 to 12 would reopen from September 1.

The guidelines announced by the Delhi Disaster Management Authority (DDMA) for reopening of schools and colleges from September 1 have allowed only 50 per cent students per class. During this, mandatory thermal screening and optional seating arrangements have been included regarding the corona protocol.

Schools in Madhya Pradesh:

The Madhya Pradesh government will reopen schools for classes 6 to 12 with 50 percent capacity from September 1. State Education Minister Inder Singh Parmar said a decision on resuming classes for students from classes 1 to 8 would be taken later. Only online classes will be conducted for them.

UP Schools reopening for class 1 to 5:

Schools from class I to V are opening in Uttar Pradesh from today. In the meeting of Team-09, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has given strict instructions to take full care of the covid protocol in schools.

He said that the work of cleanliness, sanitization should be done every day. Along with education, full attention should also be paid to the safety of the children. It is to be known that in Uttar Pradesh, schools were opened for children from class 9th to 12th on August 16 only. Instructions were given to open schools from class 6 to class 8 from August 24.

Rajasthan Schools:

The Rajasthan government has also announced the reopening of schools for classes 9 to 12 from September 1. In order to maintain the corona protocol, only 50 percent students have been allowed to attend classes in each session.
