Recruitment for 2610 posts in Bihar Electricity Department

Bihar State Power Holding Company Limited (BSPHCL) has issued 5 separate recruitment notifications for recruitment to more than 2600 posts. According to this notification, a total of 2610 posts are to be recruited including 2000 posts of Technician Grade-3, 300 posts of Junior Accounts Clerk, 150 posts of Correspondence Clerk.

This recruitment was to be started on April 1, which was postponed due to technical problems. At present, the application process for this recruitment is going on from June 15. The last date for application has been fixed tomorrow i.e. July 15. Candidates can apply by visiting the official website bsphcl.co.in.

Educational Qualification:

Candidates must have done ITI in Electrician trade after passing 10th.

Age Limit:

The age of the candidates should not be less than 18 years and not more than 37 years as on 31st March 2024.

The maximum age limit for female candidates is 40 years.

SC/ST/EBC/BC candidates of the state will be given relaxation in the maximum age limit as per the rules of Bihar Government.

Salary:

Selected candidates will be paid Rs9,200 to Rs58,600 per month.

Application Fee:

Candidates have to pay Rs 1500.

Candidates who belong to Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes of Bihar State will have to pay Rs375 for fee.

Selection Process:

Selection will be done on the basis of Written Exam, Document Verification, and Medical Exam.

Selection for Assistant Electrical Engineer will be based on GATE score.
