Rajasthan Staff Selection Board president Hariprasad Sharma resigns, To join politics

Rajasthan Staff Selection Board president Hariprasad Sharma has resigned from his post. He has sent his resignation to the government.

According to the sources Sharma’s resignation is likely to be accepted and his replacement will be announced shortly.

According to the media reports, Sharma is likely to take a plunge into active politics and therefore has resigned from his post.

Sharma is expected to contest the forthcoming assembly polls in the state from Phulera assembly seat. He has not yet clarified as to which party he will be joining.

He said that his tenure would end on 7th October this year.

Sources said that had Sharma not resigned as many as eight recruitment processes would have been affected.

"If another person comes in my place then he can complete the recruitment process,’’ Sharma added.

He was able to get eight competitive exams completed during his tenure.

He was appointed on this post in January 2021 after the resignation of Dr. B.L. Jatawat
