Lucknow University announces entrance test for UG, PG course

Lucknow: Changing ten-year long procedure of taking admissions on the basis of class XII and graduation marks, Lucknow University is all set to conduct entrance test for admission in postgraduate (PG) courses for academic session 2017-18.

What Lucknow University’s Vice Chancellor SP Singh said over the same?

• UG and PG entrance test will be conducted simultaneously, which will save time and help regularise the session.
• The university will ensure all graduation results are released on time so that the university can begin with admissions as early as possible.
• This time it will ensure no expelled students are admitted by mistake and error free student record is maintained.
• It has been ensured that during admission, complete student information is transferred to the examination department and the protectoral board online for cross-checking records.

LU had conducted entrance tests for both UG and PG till 2000-2001.
