Lucknow: In yet another accomplishment, the Indian Institute of Mangement (IIM)-Lucknow, one of the leading B-Schools of this country, has achieved 100 per cent summer placements for its 32 nd batch of 458 students in just four days.

The recruitment drive saw participation from 151 domestic and international recruiters.The participation of these firms also marked the ascent of IIM Lucknow as a preferred recruitment destination for marketing, consulting and finance roles in the country. The top 4 segments based on roles offered were sales & marketing, consulting, finance and business development including some extremely sought after and niche profiles in the finance domain.

Some of the top recruiters across different sectors were Accenture, Aditya Birla Group, Amazon, A.T. Kearney, BCG, Deutsche Bank, Edelweiss, Hindustan Unilever, ITC, RPG, TAS & Uber among others. ''Our first time recruiters include ABinBev, Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, Duff and Phelphs, Master Card Advisors and Morgan Stanley among others while International profiles were offered by ABinBev, Deutsche Bank and Hindustan Unilever,'' the IIM-L spokesperson informed.

Profile breakup

  • Sales & Marketing (30 per cent) , consulting (25 per cent, finance (20 per cent), e-Commerce (15 per cent, systems/IT (5 per cent) and general management (5 per cent).
  • In the FMCG/consumer goods/telecom/digital media sector a total number of 140 offers were made with some of the top firms being ABinBev, Airtel, Asian Paints, Colgate Palmolive, Dabur, Hindustan Unilever, HT Media, ITC, L’Oréal, Mondelez, Marico, Nestle, P&G, Pepsi, Samsung & Star TV.
  • HUL opened the highest number of profiles this year.
