IIM, Lucknow awards Diploma at 30th annual Convocation

Lucknow: As many as 619 students were awarded their diplomas at the 30th Annual Convocation of Indian Institute of Management, Lucknow by Dr. Ajit Prasad, Director IIM-L and Naveen Tewari, founder and CEO of InMobi, who was the Chief Guest on the occasion and delivered the Convocation Address.

The awardees included 405 students from the 30th batch of Post Graduate Programme in Management, 40 students from the 10th batch of Post Graduate Programme in Agri-business Management, 7 students from the Doctoral programme along with 103 students from Post Graduate Programme in Management for Working Executives (WMP) and 64students from International Programme in Management for Executives (IPMX) batches from the Noida campus.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr Prasad said there was an increased thrust on research now – among the many research projects that the institute has commenced this year, the project titled “Innovative Healthcare Collaboration” deserved a special mention; the project in collaboration with Aalborg University, Denmark involves efforts of researchers from both the Institutions and financial support from Danish Agency for Science, Technology and Innovation as well as from IIM Lucknow. The research project focuses on identifying collaboration and coordination challenges to inter-organisational healthcare supply chain processes and innovative solutions to address those challenges.

IIM Lucknow has also entered into an institutional alliance with Harvard Business School, he added.
