New Delhi: Gujarat Education Board has canceled the 12th board exam. State Education Minister Bhupendra Singh Chudasama has given this information. In view of the corona infection, the state government has taken this decision after a meeting.

CBSE canceled class 12 board exams:
A day before, CISCE has decided to cancel the 12th class board examinations this year in view of the situation of covid. The decision to cancel CBSE examinations was taken during a high-level meeting chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
The Prime Minister said that this decision has been taken in the interest of the students and it is necessary to put an end to the concerns of the students, parents and teachers. CISCE last week asked schools to provide the average of marks obtained by students in class 11 and class 12 during this session.
For the last 15 days, the campaign was going on on Twitter with the hashtag 'Cancel Board Exams'. After the cancellation of the exam, people rejoiced on social media with 'Board Exams Cancelled'.
UP Board had postponed examinations a month ago as the Covid crisis worsened across the state. On May 26, Deputy Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Dinesh Sharma, has said that the state is monitoring the COVID-19 situation at the moment and a final decision on UP Board exams will likely be taken by end of this month after discussing the matter with Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.
