Venkateshwarlu. He is saluting his IAS daughter. His daughter Uma Harthi is the third rank topper of Civil Examination 2022.
The daughter had gone to Telangana Police Academy. Father Venkateshwarlu became a little emotional as soon as he saw the daughter. He happily saluted the daughter standing in front. This whole story is now going viral on social media. IAS Uma Harthi has done her early education from Telangana. Uma's father N Venkateshwarlu is the Superintendent of Police of Narayanpet district. Uma was very impressed by her father. When she saw her father in uniform, she also wanted to wear it. And then Uma's dreams got wings. She prepared hard for the Civil Services Examination. In the fifth attempt, she finally managed to get the third rank in the Civil Services Examination.
IAS officer Uma Harthi hails from Nalgonda district of Telangana. Uma Harthi is a graduate in Civil Engineering from IIT Hyderabad, who achieved success in UPSC 2022 with AIR 3. Despite being an IIT student, her goal was to serve the society as an IAS officer. As soon as she graduated, she started preparing for UPSC. Still, Uma took the UPSC exam four times and failed every time. But she did not lose courage and kept working hard. Finally, she got success in the fifth attempt and her dream came true.
Uma's father encouraged her to join the civil service. Speaking about her father, she said, "He kept telling me what a great platform it is. Both as a career and as a platform where I can do something meaningful." Uma Harathi found such an environment in her family that made her success easier. She understands the value of the platform as a means to advance her career and make a larger social impact. Uma, who has done BTech in Civil Engineering, emphasises on the need for perseverance and learning from mistakes based on her challenging but helpful experience.
Uma Harathi explained how everything changed in a single moment. She said, "This was my fifth attempt. It has been a long process and it was not easy. But it was a wonderful journey. I learned from my mistakes and discovered myself." Advising other aspirants, she said, "Embrace the process, understand the exam, strategy, accept your failures, setbacks and ups and downs. Just accept everything, and that way, even if you don't clear the exam, you will be ready to face the world."
