CUET UG 2024: Common University Entrance Test postponed to Delhi Centre, new date announced

The four papers which were to be held on 15th May at 258 centers in the capital Delhi will now be held on 29th May 2024.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has postponed the CUET UG i.e. Common University Entrance Test (CUET 2024) to be held from today i.e. May 15 for centers across Delhi. NTA gave this information on its 'X' handle on Tuesday evening. NTA said in its post, the examination to be held on May 15 only at Delhi centers has been rescheduled for May 29. The four papers which were to be held on 15th May at 258 centers in the capital Delhi will now be held on 29th May 2024. Apart from Delhi, the examinations at all the centers in India and abroad will be held as per the schedule on May 15. On all other dates, the examinations in Delhi will be held as per the schedule.

NTA in its notice said that the concerned candidates are informed that due to unavoidable reasons, the test papers - Chemistry (306), Biology (304), English (101) and General Test (501) which were earlier conducted only in centers across Delhi, have been postponed. It was to be held on May 15, but has now been postponed. Now this exam will be held on 29th May. Revised admit card will be issued for Delhi candidates.

NTA said that the CUET UG examination to be held on May 15 will be conducted in all the cities across the country including Gurugram, Ghaziabad, Faridabad and Noida, while the examination to be held in Delhi along with all the centers on May 16, May 17 and May 18, 2024 will be held as scheduled. It will happen as per the programme.

The agency had released the admit card for CUET UG 2024 on May 13. However, in the evening NTA issued another notice for the candidates requesting them to download the hall ticket only after the evening of 14th May. CUET UG will be conducted for approximately 13.48 lakh candidates between May 15 and 24 at multiple examination centers in 380 cities including 26 cities outside the country. While the examinations between May 15 and 18 will be held in pen-paper mode, the remaining examinations till May 24 will be conducted online.
