CMS Mahanagar Hosts Grand Annual Function Celebrating Unity and Talent

Lucknow, December 22: City Montessori School, Mahanagar Campus, organized a grand ‘Annual Function’ at the CMS Gomti Nagar Extension Campus auditorium. The event was formally inaugurated by the Chief Guest, Mr. Satish Chandra Sharma, Minister of State for Food and Civil Supplies, Uttar Pradesh, by lighting the ceremonial lamp. In his address, the Chief Guest emphasized the importance of such programs in fostering children’s character development and global perspective. He urged parents to instill values of unity and peace in their children from an early age. Dr. Bharti Gandhi, Founder-Director of CMS, warmly welcomed the Chief Guest, other dignitaries, teachers, and parents, stating that children thrive in a loving and spiritual environment at home and school, shaping them into responsible citizens of society.

The parents were overwhelmed with pride and joy upon witnessing the students’ diverse talents at the grand event. A large number of parents enthusiastically applauded the performances, while the children showcased their abilities with great enthusiasm. The program commenced with All Religion Prayer, filling hearts with divine love, followed by World Unity Prayer proclaiming, “May peace prevail on Earth” in a powerful manner. The students’ performances, including welcome songs, folk dances, skits, qawwalis, group songs, and other educational-cultural programs, were highly appreciated. These presentations conveyed messages of unity in diversity, cooperation, and harmony. The highlight of the event was the World Parliament enactment by the students, which received resounding applause from the audience.

Dr. Kalpana Tripathi, Senior Principal of CMS Mahanagar Campus, said that the school’s mission to nurture smart and capable children can only be achieved with the cooperation of parents. She lauded the parents for their support in various school activities and highlighted that the function aimed to channel students’ creative energy toward fulfilling their social responsibilities.
