Hyderabad: The Osmania University (OU), Hyderabad has released the exam date to conduct Osmania University Common Entrance test (OUCET 2016), which is scheduled to be held on May 30.

List of programmes offered:

Master courses: Master of Arts (M.A), Master of Science (M.Sc), Master of Commerce (M.Com), Master of Communication and Journalism (MCJ), Master of Library and Information Science (M.LISc), Master of Social Work (MSW), Master of Education (M.Ed) and Masters in Physical Education (M.PEd).

Bachelor course: Bachelor of Library and Information Science (B.LISc).

Educational Qualification:

Faculty of science: All the candidates interested in applying must hold a bachelor’s degree in Science/arts or other equivalent examination with not less than 40 percent marks.

Faculty of Science: Candidates applying the programme must hold a bachelors degree in Commerce (B.Com) with not less than 40 percent of marks.

MBA programme: Candidates applying for this programme must hold a bachelors degree in any discipline. Final year students may also apply.

Paper Pattern:

The entrance test duration will be 90 minutes with 100 multiple choice questions.

For M.PEd programme, the entrance test will be of 75 multiple choice questions each carrying one mark. The remaining 25 questions will be awarded by the Department of Physical education, Osmania University for the sports achievement of the student.

Application Fee:

All the General and OBC candidates need to pay Rs 450 for each program.

The candidates from SC/ST/PWD need to pay Rs 350.
