New Delhi: Indian stock market opened at historic high today. Sensex opened with a gain of 90 points at 57,428.23. At the same time, Nifty crossed the figure of 17106.20 for the first time with a gain of 27.50 points. Let us tell you that the stock markets closed with a fall on Wednesday. The Sensex closed at 57338.21, down 214.18 points.

Stock Market at historic high:

If we talk about the bullish stock, then out of 30 shares of BSE in today's business, there is a buy in 20 stocks. DRREDDY is in the list of top gainers with a gain of 2.33 percent. Apart from this, Tata Steel, Sun Pharma, TCS, HDFC, Kotak Bank are in the list of top gainers.

Markets closed with a fall yesterday amid volatility throughout the day, meanwhile banking stocks saw a rise. Talking about today's focus stocks, there are VEDANTA, SPARC, GLENMARK LIFE and SBI.

Tata Motors:

"Semiconductor shortage continues to impact the auto industry globally. The recent lockdowns in East Asia have worsened the supply situation and hence Tata Motors is forced to moderate production and offtake volumes in the coming months," the company said in its release.

The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) on Wednesday said that it has decided to invest in Axis Bank Ltd. But for violation of certain provisions of Know Your Customer (KYC) has imposed a fine of Rs 25 lakh. The central bank said that during February and March, 2020, the account of an Axis Bank customer was verified. During investigation, it was found that the bank failed to comply with the provisions contained in the RBI's KYC Directions, 2016.
