Terrorist Sayyed Ahmad escapes, jumps off a running train
Lucknow: Terrorist Sayyed Ahamd, who was being brought to Lucknow from Bangalore for a court hearing escaped by jumping off a running train near Hosangabad of Madhya Pradesh Wednesday night.
According to reports ,the hand-cuffed Ahmad jumped off Rapti Sagar Express while being brought to Lucknow under police custody.
The MP Government Railway Police (GRP) has issued an alert in the country soon after he gave a slip to the police.
A team of GRP led by Superintendent of Police (SP) Ashutosh Pratap Singh and a team of Anti-Terrorist Squad (ATS) have launched a search operation while a case had been registered with GRP in this connection, reports said.
He was arrested on the charges of threatening to blow up important buildings in Lucknow and Bangalore.
