Student killed by friends after scoring better marks in boards

Shamli: In a shocking incident, a student on Monday was killed by two of his classmates while they were celebrating their success after the Uttar Pradesh board result.

Envious of Rohan’s better marks in the high school examination, his class fellows Ritik and Arpit murdered him following an argument. They were under the influence of alcohol.

• The victim scored better marks than both of his friends in UP board examination.
• He was shot on head by his friend Ritik.
• According to police, the body was hidden in a vacant plot of land.
• Both the accused have confessed that the murder was pre-planned in police interrogation.
