Shocking! Son rapes mother in Balrampur, FIR not registered

Balrampur: In what can be called as a most bizarre crime, an incident of rape of a woman by her own son has come to light in Rudhauli area of Balrampur district.

According to the police, the 40-year old woman in her complaint alleged her own son for raping her in the field on Monday.

About the incident:

• The woman stepped out of her home to bring medicine.
• The woman alleged her own son for raping her.
• Accused threatened her of dire consequences.
• Had misbehaved with other women of village also.

What SHO said:

• Station Head Officer (SHO) Akhilanand Upadhyay said that the incident is very serious.
• The son is mentally retarded and Investigation is underway.
• FIR has yet not been registered.
