Police busts illegal weapons factory in Moradabad; One arrested

Moradabad: An illegal arms manufacturing factory has been busted on Friday that was functional under the nose of Galshaeed police station in Moradabad. The factory was running inside a small chamber by two people - Israar and Yusuf.

Police has nabbed Israar from the spot, while Yusuf was successful in fleeing during the raid.

• Police has recovered 2 guns, 11 pistols, 2 half made pistols and 3 bullet cartridges
• Police has also recovered equipments for making weapons

Moradabad Police said that post manufacturing, the arms were supplied to Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand. Both Yusuf and Israar were jailed in the past for making illegal weapons and they resumed their profession after coming out.

Meanwhile, police is leaving no stone unturned to hunt Yusuf.
