Police registered a case under sections of kidnapping, hostage, gangrape and murder. However, despite being named, the accused are far from the reach of the police.

Minor battling for life after gangrape dies in hospital in Rajasthan

A minor who was kidnapped and held hostage for two and a half months and repeatedly gangraped before being dumped outside her house in Patan area in Rajasthan, died in a hospital after bettling for life four days. Police registered a case under sections of kidnapping, hostage, gangrape and murder. However, despite being named, the accused are far from the reach of the police.

The victim's father said that about two and a half months ago the accused had kidnapped the daughter. On May 23, at around 5 am, the accused came on a bike and threw the daughter in critical condition in the courtyard. When chased, the accused Rahul and Narsingh pushed them and ran away. The daughter was taken to Kushalgarh hospital, where after first aid, she was referred to Mahatma Gandhi Hospital, Banswara. Here, during treatment, she died at around 9 am on Monday.

Patan police station officer Ram Swaroop told that the information about the death was received on Monday itself. The family was called, police personnel were also sent to the village but no one was ready to give a report. The report was given on Tuesday morning at around 9 am. Postmortem was done at around 5.30 pm. The cremation was done at around 8:30 pm. The investigation of the case is with Kushalgarh DSP.

Senior officials said that the SHO has been instructed to complete the investigation as soon as possible. The case has been registered under appropriate sections as per the report given by the victim's family. The victim's family did not say that murder has been committed, they said that there were wounds on the body of the deceased.
