Man kills wife, chops body into 14 pieces

In a shocking incident, a man allegedly killed his wife and chopped her body into 14 pieces before disposing of them off in a forest apparently to destroy evidence. The gruesome crime was committed In Madhya Pradesh's capital Bhopal. The accused was an auto driver. According to the police, he strangled his 22-year-old wife to death over suspicion of infidelity, then burnt the body.

Sources said that earlier also he had stripped his wife and paraded her around the village. After the murder, the accused stuffed the half-burnt body in a sack and took it to the pit and tried to bury it in the pit and threw the remaining remains at different places. Police have recovered 14 small pieces of the woman's skull, legs and ribs from the Aravaliya pit. The girl had gone missing since May 21.

Regarding the case, Nishatpura police said that the deceased's father, Mohammad Wasim, had filed a missing report of Sania Khan on May 21. Since then, her husband Nadeemuddin alias Munna was missing. On the information of the informer, the police took Nadeem into custody and strictly interrogated him, then he confessed to the murder. On his indication, the police recovered the pieces of the body. Nishatpura police registered the case and sent the case diary to Eetkhedi police station.

Sania's maternal cousin Anas said that Sania's mother died 12 years ago and father Wasim Khan lives with his second daughter. Sania was raised by her grandmother and from there she got married to Nadeem, an auto driver living in Parevakheda, in 2020. Nadeem used to harass her by demanding a bike from 5 days after marriage. He used to beat her many times due to doubt on her character. Even before the murder, the husband beat her and paraded her naked in the village.

Anas told that two and a half months ago, boiling water fell on Sania's two-month-old daughter, due to which she died. After which Sania and Nadeem's relationship deteriorated further. Troubled, the sister came home. When Nadeem called Sania on the pretext of meeting on May 21, she left the house without telling anyone, after which she went missing. When I reached my sister's village 5 days ago while searching for her, some people told me that Nadeem had stripped her naked and paraded her around the village and beaten her a few days ago.

Bhopal Rural SDOP Manju Chauhan said that after finding the remains, the police registered a case, arrested the accused and sent him to jail. The case is being investigated.
