Celebratory firing claims life of a groom in Sitapur

Sitapur: In yet another incident of death due to celebratory firing, a groom was killed in Sitapur district of Uttar Pradesh.

Sources here said that bullet struck the head of groom, Amit. He was immediately rushed to the hospital and was declared dead on arrival.

The incident:

• Amit was to wed Sonam of Lakhimpur.
• He died due to bullet injury in celebratory firing in his own marriage.
• Investigation was underway.
