ATM guard murder planned by depicting movie Drishyam

Lucknow: It was Ajay Devgan-starrer ‘Drishyam’ which inspired Akash to kill his brother-in-law Sadashiv, an ATM, guard, in Chinhat of the state capital.

Lucknow police claimed to have worked out the case by arresting Akash on Friday. Akash confessed that he killed Sadshiv for property and was inspired by Drishyam movie in which actor Ajay Devgan buried the dead body and went for the pilgrimage so that no one could suspect.

After killing Sadashiv he went to Purnagiri temple. Another accused of the murder Ramakant is on the run and the police is trying to nab him said Rajesh Pandey, Senior Supritendent of Police (SSP) of Lucknow.

· Sadashiv’s younger brother Anurag and his friend Aakash were living together and after few months Aakash married Anurag’s sister.

· He had a huge land property and Aakash wanted to acquire it all so he murdered him.

· Dead body was found near New Wisdom-Way Progressive Inter College in Lucknow.

· Sadashiv was last seen with Aakash and on that basis they approached him and arrested said police officials.
