In a shocking incident eight members of a family, including women and children, were hacked to death in Chhindwara, Madhya Pradesh. A member of the family allegedly carried out this brutal murder. After this, the accused committed suicide by hanging himself. This case is being reported from the tribal dominated village Bodalkchar located in the forest near Tamia. The person who committed these murders with great brutality is being said to be mentally deranged. The person killed 8 members of his own family by chopping them with an axe while they were sleeping. A 10-year-old boy was also hit with an axe, who has been admitted to the hospital in Chhindwara in critical condition, where he is undergoing treatment.

There is an atmosphere of terror in the area due to this mass murder. The accused fled from the spot after hearing the screams of the people around the incident site. After this, he committed suicide by hanging himself with a rope at a distance of about 100 meters. According to the report, the incident is being reported to have taken place at 2-3 o'clock in the night. On receiving the information of the incident, Mahuljhir police has reached the spot. After which the police has sealed the entire village. The Superintendent of Police left for the spot from Chhindwara. The reason for the murder could not be ascertained. At present, further action is being taken in the case.

According to the police, the youth was married recently. According to the police, an axe has been recovered from the spot. This incident is about 150 km away from the district headquarters.
