13 killed in road accident in Madhya Pradesh

Rajgarh District Magistrate Harsh Dixit said that 13 of the injured have been admitted to the district hospital, while two people have been sent to Bhopal for better treatment due to head and chest injuries.

A tragic road accident occurred in Piplodhijad of Rajgarh district of Madhya Pradesh late on Sunday night when a tractor-trolley overturned. 13 people including four children died in this accident and 15 others were injured. President Draupadi Murmu expressed grief over this road accident. The President wrote on Twitter, "The news of the death of many people in a road accident in Rajgarh district of Madhya Pradesh is very sad. I express my deepest condolences to the families who lost their loved ones and wish for the speedy recovery of the injured."

Madhya Pradesh CM Mohan Yadav also wrote on Twitter that the news of the untimely death of 13 people of Jhalawar district of Rajasthan due to the overturning of a tractor trolley on Piplodi Road in Rajgarh district is very sad. The district magistrate and SP Rajgarh are present at the spot. "We are in touch with the Rajasthan government and Rajasthan Police has also reached the spot. The treatment of the injured is going on in the District Hospital, Rajgarh and some seriously injured patients have been referred to Bhopal. I pray to Baba Mahakal to grant the souls of the deceased a place in his feet. I have deep condolences with the bereaved families and pray for the speedy recovery of the injured", Mohan Yadav said.

Rajgarh District Magistrate Harsh Dixit said that 13 of the injured have been admitted to the district hospital, while two people have been sent to Bhopal for better treatment due to head and chest injuries. He said, "The death toll is not expected to increase because the condition of two seriously injured people is out of danger." Local residents said that these people were part of a wedding procession from Rajasthan.
