Army officer kills Nepalese women after having affair
Colonel Ramendu Upadhyay who worked in Clement Town cantonment area allegedly murdered his 30-year-old girlfriend because she was pressuring him for marriage.
A Lieutenant Colonel in army at Dehradun, Uttarakhand was arrested for murdering a Nepali woman with whom he had an affair.
According to the police they found a suspicious body of a female at Sirwal Garh locality on Monday.
The woman was a resident of Siliguri in West Bengal and belongs to Nepal.

The police arrested him from his house in Panditwari Prem Nagar.
Deceased, Shreya Sharma had met with him at a dance bar in Siliguri and later they had an affair for three years. After his transfer at Dehradun, he took his girlfriend there and rented a flat for her.
On Saturday night, Upadhyay consumed liquor with her in a club on Rajpur Road and after this, they went for a long drive, police sources said.
Later when they reached at Thano Road, an abandoned place outside the city, around 1:30 AM, he parked his car there. He started hitting the latter again and again with a hammer on the head until she died, according to the police.
After her murder, he dumped the body along the roadside and ran away from the crime spot.
According to the police, he was already married.
