Mount Maunganui (New Zealand): Sparkling batting by opener Shubman Gill (90 off 59) and great supporting act by HM Desai (56 off 73) saw Indian colts romp home in style in their last league match in Under-19 World Cup match on Friday.

India, already in quarterfinals, crushed Zimbabwe in Group B match here by 10 wickets with both new openers reaching the target of 155 in just 21.4 overs without being separated.

Earlier, playing first Zimbabwe could muster only 154 runs in 48.1 overs with Shumba (36), Captain Roche(31) and Madhevere(30) offering semblance of fight againstv accurate bowling of India juniors. Anukul Roy, fresh from his performance in last two matches, again came good and took four wickets for 20 runs.

In other Group B match, Australia annihilated Papua New Guinea to seal quarterfinal berth. It was totally one-sided affair as Australia registered a mammoth score of 370 runs in stipulated 50 overs. In reply PNG got all out for just 59 runs losing the match by a huge margin of 311 runs.
