SA vs IND, 1st Test: SA wins toss, elects to bat first against India
Cape Town: In the much-awaited three-match series opener, South Africa won the toss and elected to bat first against India at the Newlands here on Friday.
For India, pacer Jasprit Bumrah made his Test debut while Hardik Pandya was also included in the squad, making way for only one spinner, Ravichandran Ashwin.
South Africa are playing with four seamers, Kagiso Rabada, Vernon Philander, Morne Morkel and Dale Steyn and a spinner.
