Shilpa Shetty & Raj Kundra: 14 Years of togetherness & a perfect 'Love Story'

New Delhi: From the love life of Raj Kundra and Shilpa Shetty to married life is no less interesting than a film story. Controversy, emotion and love in their life are like the script of Bollywood, despite this, the relationship between these two got stronger with time. They have two children Vivaan and Shamisha.

Love story of Shilpa Shetty & Raj Kundra:

Shilpa Shetty and Raj Kundra met in London because of a common friend. It was around the same time that Shilpa won the 'Big Brother' show in 2007 and got recognition all over the world. Shilpa had told in one of her interviews that Raj's smile and persona made her crazy in the first meeting. But when it came to know that he was married, there was a lot of disappointment.

In the meantime, he came to know that the matter of divorce is going on. Raj was first married to Kavita, the daughter of a British Indian businessman, and they both have a daughter, Daleena. Meanwhile, on going to London, Shilpa started meeting Raj.

Dates in London:

In an interview in 2007, Shilpa Shetty admitted that she is dating someone. Although he did not take Raj Kundra's name, she was often seen with Raj in London. Recently, when Shilpa reached the sets of 'Indian Idol 12', she admitted that she was dating Raj since the time of the shooting of 'Life in a Metro' in 2007.

Proposal in Paris:

Raj Kundra proposed to Shilpa Shetty in Paris. While talking on Shibani Dandekar's show, Shilpa had told that she was shocked when Raj proposed. Raj proposed her by sitting on his knees in film style. Had booked the entire banquet hall, proposed with a diamond ring on the last course desert at dinner. And it was a 5 carat diamond ring.

Filmy Drama:

Raj and Shilpa's affair was not easy as their ex-wife Kavita accused the actress of breaking the house. But amidst all the rumours, on 24 October 2009, both got engaged in a private ceremony.

Shilpa Shetty and Raj Kundra got married on 22 November 2009 in Khandala.
