Ranbir Kapoor told in a recent interview that he is suffering from the problem of 'Deviated Nasal Septum'. This is a serious disease related to the nose. During this disease, the bone separating the nostrils becomes curved instead of going straight. In colloquial language, it is also called the growth of the nasal bone. Ranbir says that due to this problem, there are many problems in breathing and eating. He said that he has been struggling with this problem for many years. When many abnormal changes occur in the bones of the nose. Due to this, there is difficulty in eating and breathing.

What is septum disease?

Septum is a condition in which the septum of the nose is deviated, a special type of nasal disease. This can cause one nasal passage to be smaller than the other.

This disease often starts from birth. It often starts after a nose injury.

Symptoms of deviated septum are eating and talking quickly and difficulty in breathing.

How does septum affect a person?

Treatment of Ranbir Kapoor's disease nasal septum is possible through surgery. Nasal septum of the nose can be corrected with the help of septoplasty surgery but Ranbir Kapoor has refused to get treatment. In the year 2009, when a film director advised him to get surgery done, Ranbir refused and said that he is quite happy with a crooked nose.

Harms of nasal septum

The rare disease nasal septum that Ranbir Kapoor is suffering from also has some side effects. It can cause problems like swelling in the face, pain in the nose, headache, swelling and pain around the eyes. Usually these problems end in a day or two but sometimes the swelling remains for months. Which can be cured only through surgery.
