NCB Raids: Bollywood actor Armaan Kohli under arrest in drugs case

New Delhi: The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) has raided the house of actor and Bigg Boss 7 contestant Armaan Kohli in Juhu. After the drugs were recovered from the actor's house, the NCB has taken him into custody.

According to news, drugs have also been recovered by the Narcotics Control Bureau from the actor's house during the raid, after which Armaan Kohli will now be interrogated at the NCB office. NCB Mumbai Regional Director Sameer Wankhede spoke on the role of the actor in the case and informed that drugs have been recovered from his house.

Samir Wankhede while talking in the matter said that the actor's house was raided under the Narcotics Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act 1985. The investigation of the case is still on. He says- 'We can't say much right now. But, I will only say that raids have been conducted at his house under NDPC.

"He is a history-sheeter and has been previously involved in a 2018 case of ANC Mumbai wherein a huge quantity of Ephedrine was recovered," said an NCB official.

"We have registered an FIR and arrested Kohli and Ajay Raju Singh. Kohli is booked under section 21(a), 27(a), 28, 29, 30, & 35 of NDPS Act and Singh is booked under 22b(a), 27A, 28, 29, 30, & 35 of NDPS Act," said Sameer Wankhede, IRS, Mumbai Zonal Director, NCB.

Drugs recovered from Armaan's house:

According to the update, drugs have also been recovered from Armaan Kohli's house. After which the actor will now be questioned at the NCB office. According to NCB Mumbai zonal director Sameer Wankhede, Armaan Kohli was questioned after the raid. But, he has not given the correct answer to the question. Therefore, he has been taken into custody for further interrogation.
