Fuel rates see record hike in 11 days, Petrol Prices touch mark of Rs 100 in these cities!

New Delhi: The rising prices of petrol and diesel (Petrol Diesel Price) has increased the difficulties of the common man. Government oil companies (Oil PSUs) today again increased the prices of both fuels drastically. While the price of petrol (Petrol Price) increased by 24 to 27 paise per liter, diesel also became expensive by 27 to 31 paise.

For the past few days, rates have reached above Rs 100 in many cities of the country due to continuous increase in fuel prices. Rates are close to Rs 100 in many cities including Indore, Bhopal and Jaipur.

Since the election, prices of petrol and diesel are increasing. After the election, petrol has become costlier by 2.50 paise per liter within 11 days.

Diesel Price increased by Rs 2.78:

If we talk about diesel, then during this period, the price of diesel has increased by 2.78 paise in 11 days.

On Monday, the price of one liter petrol in the capital Delhi is trading at Rs 92.85 and diesel at the level of Rs 83.51.

At the same time, the price of petrol in Mumbai is Rs 99.14 and the price of diesel is Rs 90.71 per liter.

Apart from this, petrol is being sold in Kolkata at Rs 92.92 and diesel at Rs 86.35 per liter.

The price of 1 liter petrol in Chennai is Rs 94.54 and the price of diesel is Rs 88.34 per liter.

The price of petrol and diesel changes at 6 am every day. The new rates are applicable from 6 o'clock in the morning. After adding excise duty, dealer commission and other things to the price of petrol diesel, its price almost doubles. Petrol and diesel prices change every day, depending on what the prices of crude are in the international market along with the foreign exchange rates.
