New Delhi: The oil companies of the country have not made any increase or decrease in the prices of petrol-diesel (Petrol-Diesel Price Today) once again on the second day of the new year i.e. Sunday 02 January 2022. On Sunday, fuel prices in the country once again remained stable as before. It is being told that the central government is working on a new scheme to reduce the rising prices of petrol and diesel. India is considering a plan to extract oil from its strategic oil reserves in coordination with other major economies to bring down crude oil prices.

Petrol Price Today:

Let us tell you that the last and major cut in the prices of petroleum products was in the month of November last year. Then, the central government took control by announcing a reduction in skyrocketing petroleum prices. At that time, the prices of petroleum products in the country were continuously going up. However, efforts were made to control it by reducing the increased rates first by the central and then by the state governments.

Due to which the common man got relief. After this reduction in oil prices, the price of petrol per liter in the national capital Delhi, which was above Rs 100 per liter, came down to Rs 95.41. Similarly, petrol is being sold at the rate of Rs 109.98 in the country's commercial capital Mumbai. It still remains at the same rate. Today on Sunday, Indian Oil Corporation (IOCL) has released its price list. Some of the new rates are as follows.

Petrol Diesel Price Today:

Petrol is being sold at Rs 95.41 and diesel at Rs 86.67 per liter in the national capital of the country, Delhi.

Petrol is being sold at Rs 109.98 and diesel at Rs 94.14 per liter in Mumbai.

In Kolkata, petrol is being sold at Rs 104.67 and diesel at Rs 89.79 per liter.

In Chennai, petrol is being sold at Rs 101.51 and diesel at Rs 91.52 per liter.

Petrol is being sold at Rs 99.28 per liter and diesel at Rs 88.75 per liter in Shillong.

In Lucknow, petrol is being sold at Rs 95.28 and diesel at Rs 86.85 per liter.

In Hyderabad, petrol is being sold at Rs 108.20 and diesel at Rs 94.62 per liter.
