Petrol Diesel Price Today: Fuel sees rates hike for fourth consecutive day

New Delhi: The people of the country have once again been hit by inflation. Petrol and diesel became expensive once again on Monday. Petrol price in Delhi has increased by 7 paise per liter. The price of petrol in Delhi has reached Rs 81.53. Oil companies have increased diesel prices by 18 paise per liter. In Delhi, the price of diesel has reached Rs 71.25 per liter.

Government oil companies Indian Oil (IOC), Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd. (BPCL) and Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Ltd. (HPCL) has again increased the price of petrol and diesel on Monday.

Petrol prices in Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata and Chennai have increased to Rs 81. 53, Rs 88. 23, Rs 83.10 and Rs 84.59 per liter respectively. While the price of diesel in these cities has been Rs 71.25, Rs 76.86, Rs 83.10 and Rs 76. 72 per liter respectively.

Petrol has been priced at Rs 82.00 in Noida, Rs 82.26 in Lucknow, Rs 84.15 in Patna and Rs 78.50 per liter in Chandigarh. While diesel has been increased to Rs 71.73 per liter in Noida, Rs 71.98 in Lucknow, Rs 76.80 in Patna and diesel Rs 71.00 per liter in Chandigarh.

Significantly, petrol and diesel prices are changed every day at six in the morning. New rates are applied from 6 in the morning. After adding excise duty, dealer commission and other things to the price of petrol and diesel, its prices almost double.
