New Delhi: The country's state-owned oil companies have not reduced oil prices in any way even in the new year. Today, on the first day of the third and new week of the year i.e. Monday 03 January 2022, once again there was no increase or decrease in the prices of Petrol-Diesel (Petrol-Diesel Price Today). On Monday, fuel prices in the country once again remained stable as before.

Petrol Price Today:

It is being told that the central government is working on a new scheme to reduce the rising prices of petrol and diesel. The Indian government is contemplating a plan to extract oil from its strategic oil reserves in coordination with several other major economies to reduce crude oil prices. Well, when the work on this plan progresses, it will also be discussed. Let us tell you that the last and big cut in the prices of petroleum products was in the month of November last year. Then, the central government took control by announcing a reduction in the skyrocketing petroleum prices.


Fuel rates above Rs 100:

After this reduction in oil prices, the price of petrol per liter in the national capital Delhi, which was above Rs 100 per liter, came down to Rs 95.41. Similarly, petrol is being sold at the rate of Rs 109.98 in Mumbai, the commercial capital of the country. These prices still remain at the same rate. Government oil companies once again on Monday 03 January 2022 have not made any reduction or increase in the rates of petrol and diesel (Petrol-Diesel Price Today). Today on Monday, Indian Oil Corporation (IOCL) has released its new rate list. Some of the new rates are as follows.

Petrol is being sold at Rs 95.41 and diesel at Rs 86.67 per liter in the national capital of the country, Delhi.

Petrol is being sold at Rs 109.98 and diesel at Rs 94.14 per liter in Mumbai.

In Kolkata, petrol is being sold at Rs 104.67 and diesel at Rs 89.79 per liter.

In Chennai, petrol is being sold at Rs 101.51 and diesel at Rs 91.52 per liter.

Petrol is being sold at Rs 99.28 per liter and diesel at Rs 88.75 per liter in Shillong.

In Lucknow, petrol is being sold at Rs 95.29 and diesel at Rs 86.85 per liter.

In Hyderabad, petrol is being sold at Rs 108.20 and diesel at Rs 94.62 per liter.

Petrol is being sold at the rate of Rs 95.73 per liter and diesel at Rs 87.14 per liter in NCR region Noida.

In Shimla, petrol is being sold at Rs 96.79 and diesel at Rs 80.35 per liter.
