Petrol prices in Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata and Chennai have increased to Rs 83.97, Rs 90.60, Rs 85.44 and Rs 86.75 per liter respectively.

NEW DELHI: The people of the country have once again been hit by inflation in the new year. On Wednesday, after 29 days, petrol and diesel once again became expensive. The price of petrol has increased from 24 paise to 26 paise, while the same diesel has registered an increase of 25 to 27 paise. Petrol in Lucknow has been priced at Rs 83.80 per liter and diesel at Rs 74.47 per liter.

Hike in Fuel Price:

Government oil companies Indian Oil (IOC), Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd. (BPCL) and Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Ltd. (HPCL) has again raised prices of petrol and diesel on Wednesday.

Petrol prices in Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata and Chennai have increased to Rs 83.97, Rs 90.60, Rs 85.44 and Rs 86.75 per liter respectively. While the prices of diesel in these cities have been reduced to Rs 74.12, Rs 80.78, Rs 77.70 and Rs 79. 46 per liter respectively.

Fuel Price in your city:

Petrol has been increased to Rs 83.88 in Noida, Rs 83.80 in Lucknow, Rs 86.51 in Patna, Rs 82.16 in Gurugram and Rs 91.85 per liter in Indore.

While diesel has reached Rs 74.55 in Noida, Rs 74.47 in Lucknow, Rs 79.26 in Patna, diesel Rs 74.70 in Gurugram and Rs 82.05 per liter in Indore.

Significantly, petrol and diesel prices are changed every day at six in the morning. New rates are applied from 6 in the morning. After adding excise duty, dealer commission and other things to the price of petrol and diesel, its prices almost double.

According to the website of IndianOil, you have to write RSP and your city code and send it to number 9224992249. The code for each city is different, which you will get from the IOCL website. Indian Oil customers can get information by sending RSP to 9224992249 and BPCL consumers can send information to 9223112222 by writing RSP. At the same time, HPCL consumers can know the price by writing to HPPrice and sending it to number 9222201122.
