Petrol Diesel Price: The state-run oil companies of the country have released new rates of petrol and diesel for today, March 17. Oil prices in the four metropolitan cities of the country, Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata and Chennai are also stable on Thursday. Whereas, in selected state capitals of the country, including Lucknow Petrol Price, Jaipur, Panaji, Patna, Shillong etc., the change in prices is visible. At the same time, India's prestigious state-owned oil company Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) has bought about 3 million barrels of crude oil from Russia at a big discount compared to the current international rates of crude oil.

According to media reports, IOCL has procured Urals crude for May delivery at a discount of $20-25 per barrel as compared to dated Brent. After which the speculation is now gaining strength that petrol and diesel may soon become cheaper in the country.

In Delhi, petrol is being sold at Rs 95.41 and diesel at Rs 86.67 per liter.

In Mumbai, petrol is being sold at Rs 109.98 and diesel at Rs 94.14 per liter.

In Kolkata, petrol is being sold at Rs 104.67 and diesel at Rs 89.79 per liter.

In Chennai, petrol is being sold at Rs 101.40 and diesel at Rs 91.43 per liter.

In Shimla, petrol is being sold at Rs 95.14 and diesel at Rs 79.95 per liter.

In Hyderabad, petrol is being sold at Rs 108.20 and diesel at Rs 94.62 per liter.

In Bhubaneswar, petrol is being sold at Rs 101.81 and diesel at Rs 91.62 per liter.

In Bangalore, petrol is being sold at Rs 10.58 and diesel at Rs 85.01 per liter.

In Lucknow, petrol is being sold at Rs 95.36 and diesel at Rs 86.88 per liter.
