Nifty ends near 14,000; Sensex extends rally for 6th Day
National Stock Exchange's index Nifty has also closed on Wednesday. The Nifty closed 0.13 per cent or 49.35 points higher at 13,981.95.
New Delhi: Indian stock markets closed up on Wednesday. The Bombay Stock Exchange Sensitive Index Sensex gained 0.28 per cent or 133.14 points to close at 47,746.22 on Wednesday. The Sensex opened at 47,789.03 on Wednesday.
During trading it reached a maximum of 47,807.85 points and a minimum of 47,358.36 points. At the closing of the market, the maximum gain of Sensex shares was seen in UltraTech Cement 4.11 percent, 2.66 percent in Bajaj Finance and 2 percent in Maruti.

On the other hand, the National Stock Exchange's index Nifty has also closed on Wednesday. The Nifty closed 0.13 per cent or 49.35 points higher at 13,981.95. The Nifty opened at 13,980.90 on Wednesday. At the time of closing the market, out of 50 stocks of Nifty, 34 stocks were on green mark and 16 stocks were on red mark. On Wednesday, the maximum gains were seen in the shares of UltraTech Cement, Grasim and Shree Cement in Nifty-50.

5 of the total 11 sectoral indices were on the red mark:
On Wednesday, 5 of the total 11 sectoral indices were on the red mark and six on the green mark when the market closed. Among the indices, 1.28 percent in Nifty Auto, 0.22 percent in Nifty Financial Services, 0.10 percent in Nifty Financial Services 25/50, 0.34 percent in Nifty FMCG, 0.15 percent in Nifty IT, 0.25 percent in Nifty Media, and 1.20 percent in Nifty Metal The fast was recorded.
Nifty Bank declined 0.20 percent, Nifty Pharma 0.28 percent, Nifty PSU Bank 0.41 percent and Nifty Private Bank declined 0.25 percent.
