New Delhi: There has been a big decline in the prices of gold today. In view of the fall in global rates, the prices of gold and silver have come down in the Indian markets today. On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), gold futures fell 0.3% to Rs 47,776, while silver fell 0.5% to 69,008 per kg. Gold remained stable in the international market on Thursday.
Gold Price Today:
US gold futures rose 0.1% to $1,804.30 an ounce, according to Reuters. The benchmark US 10-year Treasury yield fell to its lowest level since February 19. Minutes of the Federal Reserve's June meeting showed that officials felt its substantial progress target on economic recovery had not yet been met.
Talking about the year 2020, the price of 10 grams of gold on MCX reached the highest level of Rs 56191 in the same period last year. Today gold is at the level of Rs 47700 per 10 grams on August futures MCX, that is, it is still getting cheaper by about Rs 8750.

According to the Good Returns website, today the price of 24 carat gold is running at 47,970 on 10 grams and 4,79,700 on 100 grams. If you see per 10 grams, then 22 carat gold is being sold at 46,970.
If we look at the prices of gold in major cities, then in Delhi the price of 22 carat gold is 46,800 and 24 carat gold is running at 50,850. In Mumbai, 22 carat gold is running at 46,970 and 24 carat gold at 47,930.
In Kolkata, 22 carat gold is Rs 47,200, while 24 carat gold is Rs 49,900. The price of 22 carat gold in Chennai is Rs 45,150 and 24 carat Rs 49,250. These prices are per 10 grams of gold.
If we talk about silver, then according to the website, the price of silver per kg is Rs 70,000 per kg. Silver is being sold at Rs 68,800 per kg in Delhi. The price of silver in Mumbai and Kolkata is also the same. The price of silver in Chennai is Rs 74,900 per kg.
