New Delhi: There is good news for those who buy gold-silver today. Amidst weak global cues, gold and silver prices are declining in India today. Gold on MCX (Multi commodity exchnage) has fallen 0.16 per cent to Rs 47926 per 10 grams today.

At the same time, silver is trading 0.3 percent lower at Rs 67865 per kg. In the previous session, gold had fallen by nearly Rs 400, or 0.75 per cent, and silver prices had also declined by 0.5 per cent.

Talking about the global market, there is a fall in the prices of gold here too. Spot gold fell by 0.2 per cent after reaching record levels in the last two weeks. After this fall, the price of gold has gone up to $ 1809.21 per ounce. Among other precious metals, silver fell 0.4 per cent to $25.37 an ounce, while platinum rose 0.6 per cent to $1,054.72.
