New Delhi: Addressing the press conference today, Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman is announcing eight relief measures. Out of these eight measures, four announcements are new. The Finance Minister first announced a new relief package related to the health sector.

Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman:

The Finance Minister has announced a 1.1 lakh crore loan guarantee scheme for the covid-affected sector. To face the economic challenges arising out of the Corona crisis, a relief package of 1.1 lakh crores has been announced for the sectors affected by Covid-19. Under this Stimulus Package, Rs 50,000 crore has been announced for the healthcare sector and Rs 60,000 crore for other sectors.

Health Sector:

Under the Loan Guarantee Scheme, a maximum loan amount of 100 crores has been kept for the health sector. Whereas the maximum interest rate on this will be 7.95 percent. At the same time, the maximum interest rate for other sectors has been kept at 8.25%. Its coverage will be changed according to the need.

Tourism Sector:

The Finance Minister said that the tourism sector is very important in India. It generates employment and self-employment. Financial assistance has been made for Tourist Guides and other stake holders. Working capital will be available. You will also get benefit in personal loan. The scheme has been brought to pay off the liabilities. Also, this scheme will help in starting a new business.

100% guarantee will be given by the government. 10 lakh will be given per agency. At the same time, 1 lakh rupees will be given to the licensed tourist guide. No processing charges or closure charges will have to be paid in this. This is a guarantee free plan.

Atma Nirbhar Bharat Yojna:

Now this scheme is being extended till 31 March 2022.

Under this scheme, so far Rs 902 crore has been spent for about 21.42 lakh beneficiaries. Under this scheme, the government pays the PF of employees and companies with a salary of less than 15 thousand.

The government has set a target of spending Rs 22,810 crore in this scheme, which will benefit about 58.50 lakh people. Government pays 12%-12% PF of the employee-company.
