New Delhi: On the first business day of the week i.e. Monday, the prices of diesel have come down. While there has been no change in the price of petrol. Government oil companies on Monday cut diesel prices by 14 to 15 paise. Let us know that on the basis of the change in the prices of crude oil, the government oil companies change the price of petrol and diesel every day at six o'clock in the morning and they become applicable from 6 o'clock in the morning.

Changes in Petrol price:

Petrol prices have not been changed much in the four metros of Delhi, Kolkata, Mumbai and Chennai by oil companies on Monday. Today, the price of petrol in Delhi, Kolkata, Mumbai and Chennai has been Rs 81.14, Rs 82.67, Rs 87.82 and Rs 84.21 per liter respectively.

Whereas after the fall in diesel prices in the four metros, it has been Rs 71.43, Rs 74.94, Rs 77.87 and Rs 76.85 per liter respectively.

Check fuel price by just SMS:

Petrol and diesel prices are changed every morning. These prices are updated daily at six in the morning. On the other hand, if you want to know about the prices of petrol and diesel at home. Then for this you will have to send an SMS to 92249 92249. To SMS, RSP <space> Petrol Pump dealer code has to be written to 92249 92249.

The code for each city is different, which is easily available from the IOCL website. In this way, you can learn about the price of petrol and diesel right from your home. On the other hand, if you live in Delhi, then for this you have to write RSP 102072 and send it to 92249 92249. After which you will know the prices.
