Dhanteras 2021: Gold Price Today near Rs 48,000 per 10 gm in festival season

New Delhi: Gold rates fell on Dhanteras on Tuesday. Same was the case with silver. On Tuesday, 9859 lots were traded for gold for December delivery on MCX. Gold was trading down by Rs 161 from the previous close of Rs 64791 per 10 grams.

At the same time, silver for December delivery was trading below Rs 78 from the previous close of Rs 47903 per kg.
On the other hand, gold fell marginally by Rs 10 to Rs 46,673 per 10 grams in the national capital's bullion market on Monday amid a weak trend in global markets. HDFC Securities gave this information.

Due to this, gold had closed at Rs 46,683 per 10 grams in the previous trading session. Silver also declined by Rs 230 to Rs 63,014 per kg. It had closed at Rs 63,244 per kg in the previous trading session.
In the international market, gold and silver were almost unchanged at USD 1,783 an ounce and USD 23.75 an ounce, respectively. HDFC Securities Senior Analyst (Commodities) Tapan Patel said, "Gold prices remained stable as spot gold prices remained unchanged at $1,783 an ounce on US commodity exchange COMEX on Monday."
