Amla can be used as a good hair wash for hair. For this, mix one spoon of Reetha powder in one spoon of Amla powder and add about 100 ml of water in it. There is another way to prepare Amla water. For this, cut the gooseberry into small pieces, add water to it and keep it on flame to boil. When the water boils, remove it from the flame and leave it to cool. Use this water for hair wash only after cooling it. This provides moisture to the hair and helps in growing longer.

Amla juice can also be applied on hair by halving it in a cup of water. This benefits from the scalp to the ends of the hair.

After keeping this paste on the head for a few hours, wash it off. Amla can be applied on the head like this once or twice a week.
