Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor are expecting their first child. Taking to Instagram on Monday morning, Alia revealed she was pregnant by sharing a photo of her scan. The big news left their fans ecstatic and congratulations were in order as millions flooded the comments section to wish the couple. Alia, who is currently in London, left fans and friends excited as she announced expecting her first child with Ranbir. Later, Neetu Kapoor also reacted to the news and was over the moon about becoming a grandmother.

The good news of Alia's pregnancy comes just over two months since the couple tied the knot. They had a hush-hush marriage ceremony on April 14. They were surrounded by family and close friends.

The news has surprised fans of Alia and Ranbir, however, it looks like Ranbir hinted at a child during his Shamshera promotions. When asked about how much work he will do after marriage he said that as he has to make a family, he has to do lots of work.
