Gujarat Titans (GT) has achieved its second win in the Indian Premier League-2024. The team defeated Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) by 7 wickets in the 12th match of the current season. With this victory, Gujarat team has come at fourth position in the points table, while Hyderabad is at 5th position.

In Sunday's first match in Ahmedabad, Sunrisers Hyderabad, after winning the toss and batting, set a target of 163 runs for 7 wickets in 20 overs, in which Gujarat batsmen won by 3 wickets in 19.1 overs. Abdul Samad and Abhishek Sharma scored 29-29 runs for Sunrisers Hyderabad.

Sai Sudarshan played an inning of 45 runs on 36 balls, while David Miller scored unbeaten 44 runs on 27 balls. Captain Shubhman Gill contributed 36 runs and Wriddiman Saha contributed 25 runs.

For SRH, Abhishek Sharma and Abdul Samad scored equally 29-29 runs. Heinrich Klaasen contributed 24 runs. Mohit Sharma took three wickets.

For this match, two major changes were seen in the playing-11 of Gujarat Titans. Afghan spinner Noor Ahmed was entered in place of fast bowler Spencer Johnson. Whereas fast bowler Darshan Nalkande got a chance in place of spinner Sai Kishore. On the other hand, Sunrisers Hyderabad did not make any changes in their playing-11.

Gujarat Titans defeated Mumbai Indians (MI) by 6 runs in their first match. But in the second match, it had to face defeat by 63 runs at the hands of Chennai Super Kings (CSK). Talking about Sunrisers Hyderabad, they made a strong comeback after losing by four runs against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) and defeated Mumbai Indians by 31 runs.

Four matches have been played in the IPL between Sunrisers Hyderabad and Gujarat Titans. During this period, Gujarat won 3 and Sunrisers Hyderabad won one. Last time there was a match between Gujarat and SRH on this ground, Titans bowler Mohit Sharma took 4 wickets for 28 runs.
